WHAT IS TIN LOAF BAKERY?
Tin Loaf Bakery is a family-run and home-based small bakery in Dormansland. Since we don't have a physical shop, we do home deliveries every Saturday and pop-ups in the local area. All advertised on the website and socials!
We also offer catering for small parties and events - afternoon teas, birthdays, hen dos, corporate...
HOW DOES THE BAKERY WORK?
At the moment, we work on a pre-order basis because everything is made from scratch on a small scale, which means there are limited quantities of products each week. We make as much as my two hands and ovens allow me!
All our breads are baked in a bakery stone oven, which makes a delicious and crunchy crust. We use organic flour from local mills and high-quality butter for our French pastries.
HOW DO I ORDER AND WHEN DO I GET MY PRODUCTS?
You can order through this website, on the Place an Order tab or you can message me on Whatsapp. Preorders are open from Sunday to Thursday evening and I bake and deliver to your home on Saturday morning.
*Please note the orders are placed weekly, so you will receive your products on Saturday of the same week. Ordering 2 weeks or more in advance is not possible.
WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?
Our range covers Dormansland, Lingfield, East Grinstead, Marsh Green and Edenbridge.
For deliveries outside this area, please get in touch via Whatsapp or email.
FREE delivery on orders over £20.
WHO IS BEHIND TIN LOAF BAKERY?
My name is Mireia (or Mary, if easier!) - I dropped my corporate job in London to embrace country life ad start my small bakery project. I did my baking training in Plumpton College and One Garden Brighton.
I'm the baker and the face behind pretty much everything else - emails, socials, pop-ups... And my husband helps with other aspects, like recipe ideas, mostly recipe testing, and does the deliveries many Saturdays. So if you see a man with bread in your drive, it's probably him!
